I am going through a separation/divorce at the moment, and unfortunately it just isn’t that simple. We spent a lot of time in counselling, and it just crystallised for us that we were not functional as a couple. Of course relationships take work, but it certainly shouldn’t be the most stressful part of your life and lead you towards depression as it did with me.
People change, and sometimes what once was fantastic can become broken with nobody at fault. And that’s life.
The world is too complex for a binary understanding.
