I’ve asked for footnotes for a year

There’s now a hack for superscript numerals, which is great. But you need smaller size type for footnotes and for cited text. Medium keeps ignoring this.

Something else that bothers me: Medium uses a sans serif typeface for notes. Serifs speed up horizontal eye movement, and aid both reading and comprehension. That’s why newspapers are set in serif type.
