Medium filters its feed. What if those filters are based on flawed assumptions? The model seems to be working for you. It doesn’t work that well for me. And, based on the gripes I’ve been reading, it doesn’t work for quite a few others, either.
We’re all going to have different reading experiences, of course (“your mileage may vary”). After all, this is Medium, not utopia. I get that. But imagine what reading the New York Times would be like if the news items and opinions you get to see are predicated on the whims and fancies of your friends and family.
