Eric A. Meyer

Eric, I whole heartedly agree. How many users mindlessly scroll through feeds and “like” whatever comes up? I’d say most, including myself on some days. In my opinion, this feature has really hurt the intimate human interaction social media was made for. It’s no longer voices that matter but the amount of likes something has. If dislikes were added into the mix I could see conversations slipping away.

On a side note, how would it feel to have a serious life changing post disliked? Would it mean they disagree? They’re sad for you? Or just the “yes/no” response to what they like?
