Great article, I think the problem is the successful start ups are held up as the norm when most people don’t realise 95+% of them fail, we don’t hear those stories, just the Zuckerburg ones and people think, “how hard can it be to make a billion dollars?” We don’t need to be negative but we do need to be realistic. I caution people before leaving their job/career to seriously consider the implications and look at ways they can transition into their business rather than quit their job after hearing the latest start up success story.
