Thank you for so beautifully sharing Teddy’s and your story. We, too, nearly lost our son in similar fashion. Our ending was different, but the trauma still lives with me. Some days when it arrives I say, “Hi, okay, so you’re here again.” Other days I want to chase it with a steak knife.

I’m so sorry you lost your son. I’m so sorry for your pain. I’m so sorry.

Too, I’m so thankful none of us are alone when trauma makes his unwelcome pit stop.
