I’m not a writer. I’m a designer.

I’m not a writer. I’m a designer.

The purpose of starting this blog is to get my mind thinking in a way that forces me to contextualize my thoughts. It’s easy to design something and have it speak for itself, which to some degree it should. Designers should be accountable for the decisions they make on a constant basis. So please forgive me if my grammar is off or if what I’m trying to say doesn’t make sense. With practice, this will get easier .. right?

When I got into design, it was honestly all about the final product. I didn’t care why or how I got there. As long as I got there. With many, many years of experience, I’ve learned that the journey is just as important, if not more important than the destination.

I’m currently delving into UX design and a big part of user experience is the “why” part. It’s slapping me in the face and roughing me up.

I like it. Let’s get graphic.
