I’m noticing the same thing. Folk try to compress their hiring needs into a couple of buzzwords covering the latest fashion or the fashionable framework of the moment. Which is okay as a first approximation of an idea of what might be the thing to do, but it ends up driving all the hiring in the industry. We all need to learn to see the fashion in our tech choices. I’m going to write a bit more about that. And about the no-framework choice which is increasingly compelling.
