The entire point is whether biology is behind the differences or not. Not whether the differences exist, generally speaking.

But seriously, let’s just lay it all out. You know the nature vs. nurture debate that people have in regards to personality and skills and such? We can all agree it’s neither just one or the other. It’s always both. So to narrow it down further, we don’t know what percentage is biology and what percentage is cultural.

I personally don’t think we’ll ever know to that level of preciseness, but it’s safe to assume culture plays a large role (plasticity and the importance of environment has to count in all of this) and that nature must also play a fundamental role, like the roots of a tree so to speak. It’s easier to see which behaviors are cultural from a big picture perspective, but pretty difficult when you try to dig and find what exact biological aspects lead to differences, to what degree, and whether this really translates to choosing different careers, among other things.
