NFL (National Football League) is a professional football league. And very popular sports in the USA. There are 32 teams in a league, which are equally divided between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC).
NFL games are typically played on Sundays, with some games also taking place on Monday nights and occasionally on Thursdays and Saturdays during the season. The regular season usually lasts 17 weeks, with each team playing 17 games.
Each unit has 11 players on the field at a time, and they compete to gain yards and ultimately score points. The NFL is known for its physicality, strategic gameplay, and the development of star players. The league has a large following and attracts millions of fans in the United States and internationally. It also hosts the Super Bowl, the championship game that determines the NFL champion, one of the most-watched annual sporting events worldwide.

When was the first NFL Game?

The first NFL (National Football League) game occurred on October 3, 1920. It was a matchup between the Dayton Triangles and the Columbus Panhandles. The game was held at Dayton’s Triangle Park in Dayton, Ohio. The Triangles emerged victorious with a score of 14–0. This game marked the beginning of what would eventually become the NFL, known as the American Professional Football Association (APFA) at the time. The APFA was renamed the NFL in 1922.
