“ even to the most conservative skeptics of climate change, that we are facing a future which will be marked by more and more disaster.”
No it isn’t, when the global power and money elite met for the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, last week, having been flown there in 1500 private jets, one of the top items on the agenda was climate change.
And the number one idea for dealing with climate change by reducing carbon dioxide emissions was ……………. wait for it …………………… A CARBON TAX on fuel, which would hit the poorest hardest. Well the super rich really need their private jets to fly to their jollies that we the taxpayers so generously fund for them, so we must let them fly around in their private jets, after all who else is going to save the planet for us.

When I read hysterical, scaremongering articles like this, insisting WE, many of us who struggle to make ends meet, must reduce our carbon emissions and pay higher taxes, while THEY who scream loudest about the urgent need to impose punitive taxes on the most essential products (yeah, carbon tax will jack up food prices,) phrases like “Turkeys voting for Thanksgiving (or Christmas were I live,) spring to mind.
You’re being had people, carbon taxes are just a way for the super rich to steal even more money from the poor. Climates change all the time, it’s just nature doing its thing and there’s nothing we can do about it.
