Julian, the word you’re having trouble with is fervid F-E-R-V-I-D, it’s in all good dictionaries. Dictionaries are big books listing words in alphabetical order and supplying a brief definition of their meanings. Even intelligent people occasionally come across a word we are not familiar with, so we use a dictionary (you can find them online as well as in libraries,) and learn their meanings. Fervid, for example, means overheated.
