Tita K proposes a Talent Show this year as a part of our Thanksgiving Celebration. Aliza, Emilia, Harper Rose, Camille and I are up for the occasion.

. Sister K reminds me that I sing loudly and each verse of every single camp song that I know I sing in a different key. King David and I both claim David as our names so I can also agree with him :

. “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.”

. I risk three verses of “We gather together.” Woven into that favorite Thanksgiving Song is memory of past family celebrations. I feel no regrets Abundantly Living.

. We are watching a movie about Princess Moana, a Polynesian Island Girl just like Lola so that might be part of our talent. Certainly Lola is going to read one of her chapters from GOD’S BOOT CAMP. She has followed her dreams seeing the Moon from both sides of the World.

. Moana hears her Grandmother / Lola say “Go!” Adventure follows as she throws off the bowlines of an ancient Catarman hidden away in a sea cave.

. Araceli and Moana. sail. away from their South Pacific safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in their sails. Thus the story of a lifetime will be exciting.

. Morgan, baby sitter and Longwood University Senior, urges the children to sing a song from HAMILTON. She is amazed that Aliza and Emilia know every word of the broadway Play spectacular. Certainly as an immigrant from Charlestown, Nevis, he fits a theme we have going with a Netherlands song “We gather together”, a fairy tale Princess Moana, a coming to America story by Araceli and the vibrant music about our most improbable founding Father.

. What other talents will we cheer on in our ever extending family grown to 30 attending a Farmville Thanksgiving hosted by Justin and Maria? Now is the time to “…sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things…”

Psalm 98King James Version (KJV)

98 O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.

7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

9 Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

King James Version

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
