God forbid a Black person is well spoken . . . the comment is always made "he/she is so articulate!" I loathe that statement. Why wouldn't they be articulate in their first language? The practice is especially lauded when an articulate Black person is putting down other Black people .i.e Candace Owens. There are lots of her type out there and some people just adore them. Say what you will, say what you want!
