Why “Growing the Economy” Doesn’t Even Make Sense

“jobs have fluctuated” ? no, the number of jobs has grown steadily for the last six years after the 2008 crisis.

total production (not productivity) has also grown steadily:

productivity (not the same as production) is growing but more slowly than in the past:
Agreed, there’s no law that total GDP growth must “trickle down” and make an average person better off. As we know, the top part of the top 1% have been able to capture almost all of the increase in incomes (or wealth) in this century.
I just wish Holly Wood would define her terms better and use them consistently. (maybe it’s that cell phone)
