This will be a big deal for places like Chupamobil who sell templates. None of my personal published apps are based on a paid template, so I hope it won’t impact them. I do have templates for multiple apps (for example Vampires, Pirates, Ninjas). However, I didn’t buy them from anyone, I created them. In the case of my Android dating app, I was selling it as a template many years ago, but no one buys it anymore.

MoPub, a former advertising network partner that paid me to display ads on my apps, has suspended my account :( It wasn’t a lot of money from them, but I liked having that account because I could rotate between them and AdMob using my open source ad server. It looks like someone else got suspended recently. No reason was given to me either.

I have asked for help or filed bugs or submitted updates for a couple of different things lately. Here they are:

*I asked a question for Apple Tech Support with the subject “Reloading Collection View results in targets getting messed up” for my Ghost Catcher VR game on iOS on 12/18/2016.

*I submitted an update to Yes or No for iOS on 1/2/2017.

*I filed a bug about a very annoying PHP internal error on 11/24/2016

Looking to popup an alert using Xcode 8, Swift 3 and iOS 10?

let alertController = UIAlertController(title: “Simple”, message: “Simple alertView demo with Cancel and Ok.”, preferredStyle: UIAlertControllerStyle.alert)let cancelAction = UIAlertAction(title: “Cancel”, style: UIAlertActionStyle.cancel) { (result : UIAlertAction) -> Void inprint(“Cancel”)}let okAction = UIAlertAction(title: “OK”, style: UIAlertActionStyle.default) { (result : UIAlertAction) -> Void inprint(“OK”)}alertController.addAction(cancelAction)alertController.addAction(okAction)self.present(alertController, animated: true, completion: nil)

INTULocationManager makes it easy to get the device’s current location and heading on iOS.

Unfortunately, the README does not include Swift 3.0 examples that work with Xcode 8.

Here’s some example code to find a user’s location in Swift

let locMgr: INTULocationManager = INTULocationManager.sharedInstance()locMgr.requestLocation(withDesiredAccuracy: INTULocationAccuracy.block,
timeout: timeInterval,
delayUntilAuthorized: true,
block: {(currentLocation: CLLocation?, achievedAccuracy: INTULocationAccuracy, status: INTULocationStatus) -> Void in
if status == INTULocationStatus.success {
print(“got location”);
else {
print(“no location”)

I wonder what vulnerability led to the DNC server getting hacked. I would like to make sure I don’t have that vulnerability. On 2 of my servers I actually don’t even log in with a normal password, I have a private key so only someone with that very long key file can log in. I think it’s pretty secure. I think probably the most vulnerable thing on my servers is Wordpress blogs & plugins. I have contemplated moving all my blogs off my main servers and onto Dreamhost for security. Not only DNC server, everyone is getting hacked these days!!

I want a leaderboard of security experts, like leaderboard had for Java experts, etc, to secure my server.

Some fascist at Facebook today deleted my own comment in the tavern on the pirate game I have spent countless hours developing. Not once have I ever deleted a users post, although I have that ability as game creator. I was explaining to the users how a user messaged me about her previous comments being deleted, not being able to post, and all this happening after trying to click on a link to my blog post about Rapportive. My comment was deleted! I will think about hosting comments for my apps in my own database.

Problem with Facebook deleting comments from user on my game, banning them without telling me. No abuse from user.

Hi, I have Facebook comments on my game. I noticed Facebook removed comments from a user and also they can not post anymore. (see screenshot). There was no abuse from this user. How do I unban them and restore their comments? How do I see the list of members who are banned (I have not banned anyone).

I have noticed a problem with the Facebook Open Graph…

For my Pirates game, I have Facebook comments on the tavern page:

Looks like a user’s previous comments are missing from there. I did not remove them. I don’t appreciate Facebook removing comments! Makes me want to switch to comments that I host for my apps. She also can not post. I have not disabled her from posting, and I don’t appreciate Facebook banning users without telling me. From Jenny: “I had also just clicked on a link you posted — ‘my mail to rapportive…..’ etc. The comment section greyed out, my comment didn’t post, and from then on…
