I feel you on this overall. I don’t think native apps are going to go away. They will always have their place, and I think that one day we might see some sort of mix between PWA’s and native apps.
- Trust me I’m with you on global warming.
- I’ve been a developer for 9 years.
- I don’t think that just because an idea hasn’t succeeded for 10–15 years doesn’t mean we should stop trying or that it can’t happen.
- Calling freelancers or 1–3 person dev shops shit businesses with no money is a little excessive. Small dev teams exist and we build great things and make great money doing it. Bootstrapped startups exist too. Not everyone agrees that the only road to success is through venture capital.
But yeah, read Eric’s article that I linked to if you really want to see someone betting against native apps! That is what inspired me to write this in the first place.
