A Living Legend who epitomized making the impossible possible.
This morning I woke to hear that Muhammad Ali, the greatest, passed away at 74. He was a living legend he lived to his own legend. He created a story and a narrative and a bold brash style that really defined greatness in the truest sense of the word.
I also heard as a result of his philanthropy he fed 232 million children around the world. Another way to view this great man. Another level of greatness. He was there for children when they needed support. Heard stories from an Anchor friend of mine Derrick Markham, who spoke how he waited in line for hours to get a autograph from Muhammad Ali. Ali was there to sign every autograph. What a big generous heart.
Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion.
“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” Muhammad Ali
Who is the greatest? Will you confront the impossible in your life? Are you willing to dare to embrace the greatest lies within? Are you willing to do the work, to commit yourself, to devote yourself to a greater cause?
