Apple Genius Bar Service Failure

First time, I have ever been disappointed with an Apple service. They had keyboards in stock for retail customers but would not give me one of those. They said I would have to wait until they ordered in a new keyboard and I would have to drive 1.5 hours each way to get it. I am not a happy customer.
Do not buy the Apple Smart Keyboard
The Apple smart keyboard is nice and compact and I like how it detaches from the iPad Pro. As a keyboard it has failed me, twice. Now I am waiting for keyboard number three. Apple may have figured out how to make electricity pass through a specially manufactured fabric but as a keyboard I do not have confidence in it. Time to move into a different solution.
I have three paid writing gigs right now an I cannot be without a functional keyboard.
I wonder what other third party keyboards Apple sells?
As I was looking around the store, I spied a Logitech smart keyboard. It is $199.95, backlit, made of aluminum and has a aluminum body. It is all one piece, carbon fibre cover. I got the black version, there was red, but I don’t want to drawn that much attention to myself.
I am writing this article using the keyboard. I am pretty happy with the logitech keyboard so far. It has a nice feel to it and if it doesn’t reproduce the typos the Apple keyboard was I’ll be thrilled. I am going to sell my Apple Smart keyboard and silicone cover once Apple gets the replacement in. I pad $229 CDN for the keyboard and $99 for the Silicone back cover. Both great products but the keyboard failing as a reliable keyboard, is an epic fail and unacceptable.
Some comes along and offers me $200 can have both. Any takers? lol
