The Other Side of Winter
The opening few pages of a story I am currently working on.It was an unusually cold night for April. The wind came howling off the Hudson and through the streets of Hoboken. Young groups of men in collared shirts and girls with electric blonde hair danced from bar to bar, the music spilling out onto the street and bouncing off the old brick buildings.
