I think what I have the hardest time with is being open. I tend to not leave a lot of room to be surprised despite having a will to move a relationship forward. That translates to me taking a large step back after I realize I hadn’t really uncovered the things that makes her amazing to me. I was more invested in finding love than finding love with her. So I am learning to pay more attention to why I love spending time with her and not how I am spending time with her.

And I agree: these people pop up when you’re living your life the way you like… I think.
