Like she said, 2/3 of Americans are fat.
But there is no external engine of oppression. It is individual decisions. People are not as attracted to fat people as fit people. End of story. Everything else just follows. It is REALITY. Reality for me, for 2/3 of Americans.
Fat people know they are fat. Fat people are no more or less attracted to fat people than non-fat people.
The idea that it is a community and that empowering being fat will fix anything is foolish.
If you don’t like being fat, do something about it. If you don’t mind, then there is no problem. What could be simpler? Personal empowerment is taking ownership of your life. Including the state of your body. The thing you, and you alone, control.
