Day 16: First time in Boston
For those who are skeptical, I originally published this at 2:30 am, however I completely forgot to hit share to Facebook and Twitter…Regardless, if you did get a chance to read this before 7 then I now make the necessary changes!
Given that it is 1 am, waking up at 4:30 would be very unhealthy so as I said in previous posts, I’m writing before I go to sleep. Yesterday, I detailed how crucial I believe travel to be for the development of anyone. Allow me to practice what I preach and not be hypocritical. I’m writing this from Boston, MA — as though clarification is needed — somewhere I have never been before. I came here for one of my best friend’s graduation and thus far my love for architecture and history has truly drawn me to this city. It gives me the same feel as when I am in Brooklyn or Paris. Rich with culture history and a distinct feel to both the people and the surrounding.

I love the brick buildings and the feeling that the city has been around forever. A true testimony to the incredible design of this city. Best of all I get to enjoy this trip with family friends and people I’ve fostered lifelong friendships with.

In short. Travel is truly amazing. But, traveling with friends is really where you gain not only life perspective but the most amazing life memories.

Time to focus on today which is entirely about my friend and to celebrate his incredible achievement in this beautiful city.
