I could say that I’ve got a unique perspective driving my focus on this, but sadly I’m but one of millions of kids of “Baby Mamas”, but a really long time before the term came to be so publicly recognizable. I’m just proof that the condition isn’t owned by just one slice of the demographic, or two if you count my age.

I do have a few not very complimentary observations to make to any “Rollin’ stone Papa’s” I encounter who speak too proudly of their serially unsupported children, confident in my expertise born of knowing what happens in the long years “after”, unlike the proud animals who don’t bother keeping track.

“And when you died, the only thing you left us, was alone.”; Is another part of the practice that I can personally witness to.

I’m hoping that at least some men reading my story will at least recognize that there’s an appeal there to their basic self-interest, by way of illustrating an impending and unavoidable disadvantage they will not at all enjoy, and will encounter unless they either die childless or generally just don’t give a damn.

I give a damn, because I have no choice
