See “Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire”… for previous examples of just about everything you described above.

It’s not because we’re so much like the Romans, it’s because there’s an historic algorithm at play once again, that operates the same way every time given the same kind of political and “empirical” inputs.

Go back in history as well, and list the nations that at one time exercised ultimate control over what was then acknowledged as the “known world” or “civilized world”. Greece, Persia, Rome, Italy, Spain, China, Great Britain, heck “BION” even Lithuania had it’stime over Northern Europe.

Every one of them thought they were “special”, immune to the faults and weaknesses of their predecessors in power. Better plans, better people, better luck with the Gods even. They all just plain thought it was their fate to rule, “forever”.

Well as History shows, sometimes the minute they dared state it out loud, their supremacy was soon to be next in line to fall, to the “next inline”. Who are we to imagine this does not apply to us?

Do we really imagine we’ll be on top, for-ev-er? Yes, we do. So much so that the question is no longer even raised very often, it’s just assumed in many circles, and every other issue is discussed within that framework.

Guess what? Sounds like our turning-point “moment” could already be upon us then. Time to start asking how the people of the previous “owners” felt after they discovered that no more does the “sun rise and set, on the American Empire.” How will we all act then?

(How long will Trump take to finally complete this process?)
