Well, thinking…
Maybe having him herd his Vulgarians into a third party is not such a bad idea. It certainly presents some advantages for all who’ve tired of their noise and chaos:
- They’ll have their own convention, which means their voices and game-playing won’t pollute the real conventions.
- They’ll likely be the complete focus of the news networks that already cater to their agenda; same idea, less noise on other channels.
- Likewise, their outlandishly strident “spokesmachines” will have less reason to set up housekeeping where they’re simply a grandiose nuisance.
- It might enable all other voters to realize that they really must be careful before they completely reject the usual two-party choices.
- Having such freedom to express their true selves, their messaging will likely become even more comically twisted, making association with them all the more socially problematic.
- They’ll have to compete for airtime, attention and resources with all the rest of the single-digit “political tourist” candidates.
Not such a bad thing, huh?
