“Socialism? But Look at Venezuela!” Debunking Anti-Socialist Propaganda w/ Actual Logic
John Laurits

What are the examples of where a socialist economy has led to success and not failure? There are numerous examples of the free market leading to success. I am curious to see the countries that have had success with command economies over the long term. Every example I have heard so far are not true command economies. Denmark’s prime minister himself denied that his country is a socialist planned economy. He said that Denmark is a market economy. Has Venezuela’s economic policies been successful when used by other countries? If the example can be provided, then using the crisis in Venezuela to show socialism is wrong becomes questionable. If there is no example, the logic of the argument stands.
