war of fear of war

I’m from a beautiful country called Slovenia. A hidden jewels on the sunny side of the Alps and one of the most green country in Europe with only 2m people living here.

Currently we are in the middle of refugees crisis and thousands of people are crossing our country feeing from war zones in the Middle East in search for a better life.

It’s heart breaking to watch these families walking towards hope a lot of them with small children. Volunteers, police, army and charity organizations are trying their best to help them on their path towards northern Europe, where they hope they will find a better life.

Although most of the media and people are trying to stay real, there is fear all around us. It is imminent, the change is happening.

We are all trying do to something to help, so a group of designers, illustrators and artists organized a pop up exhibition to raise money for a volunteer organization.

I made a series of 5 posters with typography made out of different scrap metal. It took about 3 days to create this message: “war of fear of war”.

Different scrap metal was used to create the typography
A series of 5 posters made a strong statement.

A refugee is a person who is outside their home country because they have suffered (or feared) persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, or political opinion; because they are a member of a persecuted social category of persons; or because they are fleeing a war.
