I found the post in a Google search where it was placed among content related to definition #2, the predominant definition.

Since the subject matter of the post describes bipolarity in the context of human traits and behaviors, and not in reference to statistical analysis, I found the use of the term to be either insensitive or just unaware (the use of “cray cray” in this post comes to mind).

I appreciate that you had no intent to trivialize, but you weren’t writing about axons either.
