Don’t Make Life Harder Then it Need Be

Imagine for a moment someone asking of me a simple task like please spell your name? Would I snap and bark the letters to them, or would I just spell it?

The reason is that there is no emotion in it. I just do it.

Now imagine a scenario when someone I am in difficulty with, or estranged from, asks me to do a simple task and I simply refuse because “he” asked me. This of course escalates into them not doing something simple for me, and so on.

Life is already so inherently difficult, let’s not make it harder by letting our emotions drag us into insignificant matters or “digging in” for battles we don’t actually care about.

Stay the course, the path to virtue.
