Oh! I wish I could sit and talk with you this afternoon. My husband was diagnosed with glioblastoma last July. He was fit, healthy, and never in a million years did we expect that. He had nine tumors so he chose to do no SOC after resection. He chose to walk away from the hospital and LIVE until he lived no more. It was four months — but a journey that brought more to more people than we ever could have imagined. Devastating, yet beautiful. I will be doing a Tedx Talk on it this fall. We need to have a national dialog about dying. We’re all going there someday. There’s no need to be so afraid. You can read his story on his caringbridge if you feel like it. Choose “oldest to newest” in the dropdown. Life and death can be pretty amazing. Blessings to you on your journey. Live it all up!! ❤
