From entrepreneurship to Startup
I have been reading lots of articles, journals, books and histories of this road around startups; downfalls, success, different typos, different processes, tips, teams, what you have to do or not to do.
The true is that each entrepreneur have his own process, may you want to read some advices, meet the ones who can share with you their experiences and will give you new lights on your projects, read some great books, pitch the most as you can because at least for me one of the things you may want to do before start to run your own business is pitch your project to VC´s, investors, professionals that are in this ecosystem and actually can understand and speak your language. Why do I think this is truly important? Before you throw the rod to fish, you should want to know which fish is going to bite your fish hook or is it only one instead a shoal or if you are in the right place of the sea at the right moment, however, pitching your idea in front of this people make you a wiser thinker, you constantly receive feedback from experts before you crush the market with your product, as well it will make you question everything about your entrepreneurship which is a great exercise of brainstorm and improvement. If you sense this kind of experience, you will know at first, you have to embrace the same exact professionalism with your future customers. Besides, if you have a great Business Model & Validation you get to have support from this investors.

In my experience as an entrepreneur, the road to become a startup is not that easy as it seems on the shows or movies, it looks like is so easy to reach millionaires accounts, the total success of your company and even nail the whole techie world but it takes a brilliant idea (not just good) in a perfect lapse of time and hundreds of hours of work, tons of feedbacks and a great validation and you will still work hundred of hours of work to test your product (you don´t want to fail loudly, all of us we know we have to experience fail). So, what I actually did was to run different startups before my beloved entrepreneuship (one of my deppest motivations was to fail milliards of times with these startups so once I started my beloved project I failed the less it could be possible), in that way I would create and receive data for an algortyhm to study the behavorial of the people about spending money in something they like but most of the time is expensive but at the final they have to buy because is one of the common expenses of their habitual life. Sometimes people spend more in their habitual activities rather a health prevention, then it comes social security to carry on to diseases that could be solved before it happened.
The history above reminds me the composition of traditional forms of work combined with an efficient and unique form of work, it is explained that each project have its own unique essence and metrics, its own model, and you will work and connect with the values of your startup to make it work; you can not measure differents entrepreneurships the same way you measure another type of company. Eric Ries explained it very well in the Lean Startup model and book. So, time goes by and it is always something new to innovate processes and methods.
For me, entrepreneurship works like that, everyday with new ideas to add to the different projects we have at BigData (my startup) and always be in constant support in behalf of the team that makes it possible, the strong believe to pursue “the dream”, after you engage in a team is not just your dream (the way you started) now is “the collective dream”, make sure the people that is with you in your great project have the guts to follow your ideas but to potentiate it and the same way back; but at the final if you ask me, what would I think is the key? I will say the constant work in what you want, dont lose the code!
A constant study of different things, a constant reading about all the topics you are passionate about, a geniune interest for art and philosophy will take you stairs above normality and you´ll be attraction for ideas. Normality is sickness — I said that.
I´ll be here if you want to reach me.
