I think my biggest problem with this article is the idea that Anakin isn’t the chosen one. I think, especially if Palpatine isn’t alive in this continuity, it would seem that Anakin did bring balance to the force in regards to the Light side versus the Sith. Yes, the First Order appears to be Sith, but there are more sides to the Light and Dark battle and I don’t think Disney would completely throw away every idea ever developed in the expanded universe. The expanded universe clearly has had some influence with what has happened to the Skywalker family.
