Pre-sale Participants Eligible for 48 hour $BITS Landsale Starting July 22nd
We’re excited to announce Gridcraft will be holding its first $BITS land sale on July 22nd! Everyone who participates in the $BITS pre-sale from July 13th — 16th on Copperlaunch will have their wallet whitelisted to purchase land on Gridcraft’s primary map. The explorer map will continue to expand as Gridcraft’s ecosystem grows. Eligible members will be able to use $BITS to purchase a “Golden Land Ticket” for varying land plot sizes.
Land price will depend on scarcity and location. There are 5 distinct land plots (Core, Small, Medium, Large and Ultra) available for purchase on July 22nd using $BITS. Here is a breakdown of each size and approximate cost.
Core (50 available)
Core plot are centrally located near Grid City and are the most sought after pieces of land due to their high traffic and visibility. Each plot is 50x50x383 meters and will have a Golden Ticket available for purchase at 2,000,000 $BITS.
Small (500 Available)
Small plots are the most affordable. Being the same size as the Core plot type at 50x50x383 meters, the small plots exist everywhere outside of the City center. Golden Ticket available for purchase at 175,000 $BITS.
Medium (250 Available)
Medium plots exist as a middle ground. Quadrupling the small plot size at 100x100x383 meters, Golden Tickets available for purchase at 750,000 $BITS.
Large (100 Available)
Large plots command attention at their size of 200x200x383. This is the type of plot that can house multiple residents and different builds or experiences. Golden Tickets available for purchase at 3,500,000 $BITS.
Ultra (5 Available — Exclusive to Pre-sale holders)
Ultra plots are by far the most impressive option. Extremely scarce with only 5 ever hitting the market, Ultra plots size in at 400x400x383 meters. Additionally, these plots come with a special island base to give you a head start on building. Golden Tickets available for purchase at 8,500,000 $BITS. Great for communities and entities looking to enter the web3 space.
Phases
The land sale will happen over 3 phases.
Phase 1 — Golden Land Ticket Sale
After July 20th 6:20:24 PM UTC, you may claim $BITS bought on Copperlaunch and then staked on Crucible.
After July 22nd 8:00:00 PM UTC, Golden Land Tickets for each plot type will be available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis. Your purchase acts a voucher redeemable on mint day. The advantages to purchasing during pre-sale are discounted prices and the ability to have first pick of plots. Golden Ticket buyers will be able to ensure they own the most premium located land on the entire map.
In about a month, date TBA, we’ll hold a plot claim period for Golden Ticket buyers. This is when buyers will have the ability to pick the location of their plots in Grid City before any other group.
Phase 2 — Node Holders Sale
Gridcraft Identity and Llamascape Land holders will be able to purchase after pre-sale Golden Land Ticket redemptions. Holders will be able to claim $BITS and convert them to $ETH prior to the sale.
The sale will take place in approximately one month which we felt was adequate time for holders to earn enough $BITS to participate.
Phase 3 — Public Sale
Finally, the public community of $BITS holders will receive access to buy land.
