Rise Up!

In order to be on the winning team you must learn the rules of the game. I’ve been on the losing team for a long time now, and as a result I’ve grown an overwhelming affinity for you.

In order to be on the winning team you have to realize what game you’re playing. It’s like the ants floating I’ve mentioned before. But cross that with the crab bucket and you’ll get a better picture of where we’re at. We got a big wide layer of ants at the bottom, but some of the other ants are building pyramids on that shit. If you’re on the losing team, that shit is you, brah.

Rise up!

People talk about wealth inequality, but that don’t even recognize money’s role in the game. You have to realize a few things on a fundamental level. To level the playing field, you have to know what field you’re actually on and where you are on it. Why do you think they call it grass roots?

Therefore — the most important thing you can do is learn the game and learn the field — and teach everyone as much as you know. All those people telling you to wake up think they know more than you. Maybe you should hear them out. Maybe, for Americans, we can put a benchmark on awakening. You get to call yourself awake if you no longer believe in the American Dream. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j69Ap4lndl0

Over the last 3 years, since Occupy woke me up, I have been ‘sounding the alarm’ — but I have grown to value personal sovereignty a lot more since then. Respecting personal sovereignty means respecting a person’s right to willful ignorance.

This guy who floated into my circles, Elwin Green, http://goo.gl/C4aOVm has this tagline on his profile:

Level 1 = hate the player.
Level 2 = hate the game.
Level 3 = learn to play.
I strive for Level 5

I don’t know what his view of level 5 is, but I think a lot about what I want Level 4 to be. Change the game.

That always brings me back to Buckminster: http://goo.gl/1TySeB

To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. Build a better game.
