The True Cost of Prop 1 for Austinites: $29M, Jobs, Funding and Lives
Courtney Powell

This story was a decent write-up Cortney, but you missed Adam Smith’s “invisible hand”. I have witnessed a number of those drivers using their client bases and going directly to their customers in the past weeks since Prop 1’s defeat. Very nice. It’s a frictionless transaction. I think there is an opportunity to watch how nature abhors a vacuum and figures it out in new ways. All Uber and Lyft have done is provide the start-point.
