That’s a good idea. We actually did that in the pricing step during onboarding where our users had to pay. But yeah, we could have done the same on this landing page too.
You are definitely right there. But we had very little time to quickly do some experiments to improve conversions. So we went with our intuition mostly supported by some test results instead of nothing. :)
We tried that as well but it was difficult to explain all the benefits above the fold since ours was a very unique product offering. So, we made a one line pitch and since it’s a new kind of product, we wanted to improve trust and credibility by showcasing media articles where Goodbox was featured.
I am not aware of Apple VR kit. Will look it up.
I completely agree with #2. In fact, at the time of writing this article, I got carried away with conversational UIs (which was a fad back then :P) and ignored lot of practical use cases. Nevertheless, it is still a good option to consider in cases where it works, may be along with a conventional e-commerce design.
