$200 is about right in our neck of the woods. I had a teeth cleaning without insurance a few years ago and it was $120 for the actual cleaning and the other $80 was for whatever it was. I know a lot of dental offices in the Bellevue-Renton area will run $50 specials for cleanings just to get people in the door. Also, groupon! There’s a good chunk of dental coupons! I’m guessing Seattle metropolitan run the same kind of specials. My job has insurance with Delta Dental and if you go 3 years in a row for cleaning etc. you get the 4th year free and just pay for dental work. I’ve been enjoying my free cleaning since last year.
