I use workflowy ONLY for notes and outlines. The only time I want to use a date is when I want to know when a meeting took place for example or when I wrote an outline for a project.

I envision you’ d have a setting that allowed me to default the date as the beginning of a note under any of the bullet points. This way when I shift enter I know the date will display. Since I don’t want the date on every single item, I’d know exactly when I’d have it. Today I do this but I have to type it in. I also would envision if I hover over this date, it would allow me to change it.

Today I add my own note with the date but sometimes I forget and then I have to use my recall of the date (doesn’t always work).

I rarely use hashtags or use the app for todos or deadlines. But I use the “Note” feature for the bullet points.
