Good food for thought, Faisal! Businesses that have professionalized the analysis of the effect of low price points are e.g. gambling providers. However, even use cases where individuals are not involved or direct beneficiary of the monetary incentives, are also likely in the future: Internet of Things — related sensors that are paid real-time for queries, real-time billing for charging of e-mobility infrastructure….. For the moment, however, it would already be enough if more online businesses opened their eyes and recognise that between free (ad-sponsored) and relatively high subscription prices is a gap: Pay-As-You-Go or individual charge, as simple as buying for a few coins in the real world… The web has moved past the binary age. Ultimately a business model and marketing question even before the payment means…
