There is often talk
Of the rocket’s red glare,
But there is little mention
Of the blood spilt there.
Just as sunset’s shadow
Falls across the spot,
It is a thing to wonder
What those men must have thought.
It wasn’t just tea in the harbor,
It was a bit more of a fight.
But did the punishment fit the crime?
I’m not quite sure it’s right.
