The University of Tampa, one of the Florida Private University Alliance [1], is a medium-sized, comprehensive, private university located in Florida, United States.

Today, the school has 8,000 students from all 50 states and more than 100 countries. About half of the students are from Florida. Nearly 70% of full-time students live on campus. The University of Tampa offers more than 120 majors, minors and liberal arts-focused programs. Located in downtown Tampa, the university’s adult programs are popular among working professionals. In addition, the university offers graduate education in several majors such as education, business administration, accounting, finance, marketing, and nursing. Its MBA program is one of the largest MBA programs in Florida and is the backbone of private universities in the southeastern United States. It is accredited by AACSB.

The John H. Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa is a business think tank in the Tampa Bay area and Florida.
