Great article, Jonathan. Game one of this season’s NBA finals definitely exposed the differences between OKC and Cleveland’s match-up qualities against the Golden State Warriors. I also pick the Warriors to become NBA champs again, but this was the first game of a “best of seven” series and I don’t expect LeBron to sulk and lick his wounds tonight.

With these main points aside, it’s obvious Cleveland wasn’t prepared for the lob-sided disparity of talent between the two NBA conferences — especially at this stage in the post season. I believe tonight’s game will be the defining indicator on whether we as NBA fans get an exciting series or witness one of the most dominating teams in NBA history complete an astronomical record-breaking season run.
