You know this whole concept of ‘this land is ours, these jobs are ours, we are insider, you are outsider’ is nothing but flawed and devisive. And this argument is used everywhere, inspite of the fact that we all are more or less similar when it comes to one’e needs w.r.t roti, kapda, makaan. And jobs and land is never a zero sum game. Countries don’t make us insider ,outsider, death does. As long as we are all alive, we all are insiders. Too idealistic noe! Because neither any country is perfect nor is any leader. Real life seems too much like “Game of thrones”!
Ofcourse there is something we all can do as individuals, starting with not believing in news which is not from a credible source. As a citizen it is our responsibility to share and spread authentic information with others, not rumors. We will always be taken advantage of until we make efforts to differentiate between right and wrong, true and false. Every party has an agenda, every leader has an agenda, it’s time we prioritize our own goals as citizens and don’t feed to others motives.
Until India’s leaders dedicatedly work towards reducing poverty and population, tragedies will continue to make emotional fools out of us. Till then an unemployed will keep on trolling us and lynching for a cow because either he is getting paid for or he is too hostile with life.
I also think that India’s Middle Class should get rid of its indifference and become more involved in enabling the less privileged ones. Change starts with people and if the educated and enabled won’t step up, things will just get worse for all of us.
