The Atlantic City Casinos with the Best Slot Payouts: Harrah’s and Borgata

Every month, the Atlantic City casinos release various statistics. One of those statistics is the win percentage for their slot machines. We analyzed this data over the last year to determine which AC casino has the best slots for gamblers.

To determine the best casino for slot players in Atlantic City we first converted the data that the casino provides from the slot win rate for casinos to the customer payout rate. We simply subtracted the casino’s slot win rate from 100%. For example, if a casino stated that its win rate for a month was 8%, then the payout rate to gamblers was 100% — 8%, or 92%.

We looked at the last twelve months of data available. This gave us the slot machine payout rate for each casino from November 2017 through October 2018. Here is a look at that data:

In order to make all of this data easier to interpret, we then ranked every casino each month. The casino that had the best (highest) payout rate in a month was given a rank of one. Here is a table with the monthly rankings:
