3 Best Views: Skylines of Tokyo

There are countless Skyline views in Tokyo. In this article, I will focus on three views I have encountered recently: Bunkyo Civic Center, Hokutopia, and the Tokyo Skytree.

① Bunkyo Civic Center, Bunkyo-ku, Korakuen Station:

Price: Free.

  • Get off the train at Korakuen Station, take the elevator to the top floor, and there you are!
  • Korakuen Station is also home to Tokyo Dome City which surrounds Tokyo Dome Baseball Stadium.
  • You can also find a Shopping Center called LaQua fitted with an Onsen, and theme park rides including the “Thunder Dolphin” (a roller-coster that shoots above the Dome) at Korakuen Amusement Park.

② Hokutopia, Kita-ku, Oji Station

Price: Free.

  • Same as at Korakuen Station — you can see this spectacular view by simply going up the elevator to 29F at Oji Station!
  • Shinkansen Railway Track can be seen.
  • Asukayama Park, which becomes glittered with Cherry Blossoms in April, is depicted to the right of the Railway track.
