The so-called ‘conservatives’ who support him have abandoned a bedrock principle of genuine American conservatism: the inviobility of property rights in all but the most extreme cases. But genuine American conservatism is virtually dead in this country. With the moral degenerates now dominating government, it’s not gonna improve.
But there still are occasional judges who respect the law, and so they might win their case.
As for Standing Rock, there are still legal avenues being pursued, but I think they have given up on eminent domain arguments because, in America, increasingly, corporate profit trumps private property.
