There is a great need for more data and due to how Ethereum supports a variety of different syncing modes it’s harder to simply conclude that the data for a particular sync mode (e.g. storage growth of archive nodes) is a concern.

Sites like https://etherscan.io/ are making good progress and have added more stats over time, but there is still a need for much more tooling to not only present but also visualize data around the blockchain itself and nodes in the network.
