Prototyping continues
1.0.2 on Google Play — 31th Mar’15
Today a new version for Android has been published on Google Play. With a new bundle ID since of the keystore disaster. 30 installations are affected and less then so users.
100 users — 30th Mar ‘15
Great news, today we are on 3 digits. We are testing out some Twitter ads, so far great value on installs.
Keystore corrupted — 25th Mar ‘15
Another release of the Android version is ready. However there seems to be a problem with our keystore. I’m suspecting something corrupted our password. I’ve bruteforced most passwords on the keystore file using EC2 machines but to no avail, hopeless. Hopefully we have not too many users on Android. Lesson learned: Use console tools and don’t trust IDEs. We are doing work on onboarding for iOS for the next release.
New design in motion — 12th Mar ‘15
We have ordered a new design concept from our friends at Studio Äppelpäppel. Very interesting to see what they will come up. The new design will be implemented in v2. It’s not scheduled for a date yet. At the moment we are setting up a on-boarding experience. It’s going to pretty streight forward to get people start using the app with their contacts.
Appstore, bugs — 8 Feb ’15
After the app was launched there has quite a few bugs surfacing. Finally Apple approved Hemlig.

After quite a coding marathon the web app for Android is published. Needs further improvements but, hey, now it’s out.
