Expressing what cannot be said

We desire expressing our thoughts, impulsive people are very good at it, however with more self-control you put more consideration in what you are saying. After considering what to say you might not say it at all. Still, afterwards you sometimes really wish you gave that compliment, spoke that feedback, or delivered that confession.

Would you have said those things if it was easier and more accessible to do it? Through the app Hemlig it’s possible. When you find yourself in a situation, dying to say something, Hemlig is there to help you say it. A short message in the context of the real world is the perfect ice-breaker or delivers the straightest feedback. As long as you, the sender, are morally thoughtful, the receiver might actually appreciate what they got.

Some things is easier to express through a secret note.

Our social etiquette limits our way of communication, with the help of technology we have the possibility to circumvent this human behavior. Bursting the bubble of social patterns might be what humanity needs in order for our morale and ethics to grow one step further. When you can say those horrible things, would you still do it?

The excitement of passing a secret note is shared between the sender and the retreiver. When sending a love letter you wonder if the person will suspect it’s you who sent it. Opening a secret note is also exciting, you are open to whatever is in the message, positive or negative. This is what makes it so special and why sending secret notes is in the essence of what it means being human.
